St. Pete Beach - Volunteers sought to plant sea oats

"The city of St. Pete Beach seeks volunteers for the second annual sea oats planting from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday beginning at Hurley Park Pavilion, 1501 Gulf Way. Sea oats, which create beach dunes by collecting blowing sand, are a vital dune plant. Bring gloves, a hand shovel, sunblock, a hat and beach shoes. Parking passes and refreshments will be provided.
