Quickpoint Fishing

Quickpoint is the nature park north of the bridge over New Pass.
It's on the south end of Longboat Key.

On a nice Spring weekend, there is good fishing
on the ramp under the bridge and walkways nearby.

These live shrimp make great bait.

Spanish mackerel were abundant in New Pass.
This lucky fish is a "catch & release" specimen.
