East end of Bird Key Park

Steep slope down to water.
The boulders placed to prevent erosion...didn't.

At high tide, they make it difficult to wade in the water.

"Access Point"
This means a break in the concrete blocks along the slope down to water.

Present parking. This photo was taken on a windy day at high tide.
On better days,
when people could get in the water,
the parking lot could be filled.
